🐓 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐑𝐄 - 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐀 🐓 « Vaincre ou Mourir pour la Wallonie! » 📌After King Leopold III's surrender in May 1940, many people in Wallonia felt betrayed, seeing it as a loss of pride and hope. On May 29, in Liège, a movement began, inspired by the old flag "Vaincre ou Mourir pour Bruxelles!" Former soldiers, steel workers, and young people united. They set up barricades and engaged in intense battles with occupying forces, which soon spread to Charleroi, Namur, and Mons. Workers in factories organized and resisted.
