Description

𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐦 Following the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815, Belgium found itself under the control of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands, which was formed to create a stronger buffer state against France. However, tensions grew due to cultural, religious, and economic differences between the predominantly Catholic south (Belgium) and the Protestant north (Holland). As Belgium navigates its new status as an independent nation, King Chiel and his supporters must balance their aspirations for power with the geopolitical realities of post-revolutionary Europe, leading to an intriguing and tumultuous era ahead. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼: Unity makes Strength 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦: La Brabbacone 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥: Brussels 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲: Belg 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞: French, Dutch, German 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝: 1830 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:: Semi-Constitutional Monarchy
