Soviet Military Mission in Germany #35053445
Description
Present in Germany since 1920, the Soviet Military Mission was tasked with helping to organise the new German Red Army, due to lack of German qualified officers, since majority of officers from old Imperial Army were either Nationalists or Monarchists and only small amount was willing to serve the new government. The Soviet assistance was crucial in early stages of army's existence.
