Zamtech Corporation is an advanced nuclear engineering company and a subsidiary of Plasma Facilities Inc. The corporation is at the forefront of the development of new energy technologies, such as a prototype deuterium fusion reactor. Founded in 1964, Zamtech earned its first reputation as a defense contractor and research center devoted to nuclear materials research during the Cold War era. It was acquired in 1987 by Plasma Facilities Inc. and is still operating under the same name today as a completely integrated research subsidiary.
