Description
난징(南京) 지하 구역 Korean Provisional Government, Nanjing Underground Section The Korean Provisional Government which was organized by Korean Independence Activists exiled to Shanghai had been operating in China years before the outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War. However, when the Japanese had begun their invasions of China, they had quickly swept through and the KPG had to flee Shanghai alongside the Kuomintang. Along the path the KPG stopped at Nanjing. Some KPG operatives had stayed in Nanjing many training as guerilla fighters by the Chinese. When the Japanese invaded Nanjing the KPG once again had to depart and flee to another region. However, a few KPG operatives stayed behind dressed in Chinese Civilian clothing to gather intelligence on the ongoing events in Nanjing.
