On the outskirts of Valentine, Texas, near the Louisiana line, the town sits half-rotting in the heat, doors hanging open and homes left bare, years prior a mentally ill congregation took it for themselves and never left, leaving only the hum of crickets and the slow drift of crocodiles through the bayou, yet the the church is still kept, they still sing, and nothing in Valentine goes to waste. 🐓 📰🌾🐊
