Description
The Drummond Family Founded in 1871 The Drummonds are a ranching family in Texas, owning the Drummond Ranch in Brazos County. Our roots go back to the founding of Bryan, Texas, between 1873 and 1880. The Drummond Ranch sits on one of Central Texas' biggest oil reservoirs, making it a prime target for large oil companies. On the ranch we raise Longhorn cattle and Quarter Horses. Primarily a beef industry ranch, our cattle are some of the most sought after in the state. The current year is 1968. Events of this year: 1.) The Drummond Ranch was renovated for Johnny's return from Vietnam 2.) The Drummonds opened up a new diner close to the ranch to serve their beef directly from the ranch. 3.) Dean Drummond returned from New York after finishing law school
