Description

Initially consisting of citizen patrols—men assigned to night duty monitoring for suspicious persons, the official police force was established in 1860. Since the year after its founding, the Beecher Police has operated under the direction of the Millbrooke Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA). The budget for this department allows for 60 members, all of whom must be state residents and hold a valid MLEA certification.
