Description
The Earthen Ortothan Kingdom, more commonly known as the Ortothan Kingdom, was a civilization formed by prehistoric humans around 11000 BCE. Current records indicate this was spurred by the arrival of an extraterrestrial entity referred to as the "Star-Fallen Messenger" in ancient texts. The civilization rapidly grew, theorized to be from a combination of aid from the First Messenger and the increased human use of thaumaturgic practices at this time. Several centuries later they engaged in the Ortothan-Daevic War (c. 11000), a defensive struggle against Daevite territorial expansion. After continuous fighting defenses faltered and Daevites forces invaded, bringing about the Kingdom's collapse.
