We are Freistaat Löwenfels We are based in the year 1873. The Community we are Associated with is Ad Mortem. Freistaat Löwenfels, meaning "Free State of Löwenfels" was established centuries ago in the heart of a rugged and mountainous region. The nation was founded by a coalition of independent city-states, united under the banner of the lion, a symbol of strength, courage, and unity. Löwenfels' origin lies in its resistance against a powerful empire that sought to conquer its lands for their rich natural resources and strategic location. In 1273, after years of guerrilla warfare in the mountains, the coalition defeated the imperial forces in the decisive Battle of Steinwald, earning their independence. The victory led to the drafting of the Treaty of Löwenfels, which outlined the principles of unity, freedom, and shared governance. The Freistaat was officially born, governed by a Kanzler elected by regional representatives.
