“Milletimiz için, Sultanımız için, İmparatorluğumuz için!” “For our people, for our Sultan, for our Empire!” OESL was founded by Mustafa Ali Yilmaz on the 9th of January, 1833 when he was a 33 year old man with an ambition to become famous.The Shipping company eventually became famous but went downhill in 1898 when Mustafa died at the ripe old age of 98. Just like the Ottoman Empire itself, OESL was the sick man of shipping lines. The final nail in the coffin was when WWI struck and the Russians, French and British took over Constantinople, all OESLS ships were sunk, scrapped or turned into warships for the Entente. -Our ships- P.S Constantinople-In Service S.S Izmir-Under Construction P.S Antalya-Planned H.S.H.S Gaziantep-Planned P.S Ankara-Planned S.S Anatolia-Planned -Tenders- S.S Bursa-Planned. (Voyages will usually be on Saturdays for 30-60 mins at 8:30pm GMT.)
