Description

The Chinese Soviet Republic (CSR) was established on November 7, 1931, following the consolidation of Communist-controlled territories following several armed uprisings after the fracturing of the First United Front. The CSR was led by Mao Zedong, who served as the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee. The Soviet Republic upheld agrarian reform, proletarian dictatorship, and the mobilisation of the peasantry, which served as the guiding framework, with the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army as the military vanguard.
