Description
Heathen Information • The Army of Heathen is a ruthless raider faction led by the legendary Viking King Ragnar I Lothbrok and his sons. Known for their brutal raids, they struck terror across Europe, seeking wealth, glory, and conquest. Ragnar's leadership was marked by strategic brilliance and a deep belief in the Norse gods. After his death, his sons Bjorn Ironside, Ivar the Boneless, Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye, and Ubbe continued his legacy, expanding their reach even further. The Army’s stronghold was in Scandinavia, particularly Denmark, with raids extending to England, France, and the Mediterranean. They captured York in England and established the Danelaw. Using swift, surprise attacks via longships, they pillaged towns and monasteries, leaving devastation in their wake. The Army of Heathen remains a symbol of Viking strength and ambition, their legacy marked by terror and respect as they carved their name into history through conquest.
