Vympel Tactical Medical Service #35167439
Description
1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (1 RAR) The 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (1 RAR) is an Australian Army infantry battalion portraying its historic deployment during Operation Solace in Somalia, 1993. As part of the Australian-led humanitarian mission under the Unified Task Force (UNITAF), 1 RAR was tasked with restoring security throughout the Baidoa region, protecting humanitarian aid, escorting relief convoys, conducting patrols, and confronting armed militia threatening civilian lives. Within this faction, members will experience historically inspired operations based on the real activities of the 1 RAR Battalion Group, supported by M113 armoured personnel carriers from B Squadron, 3rd/4th Cavalry Regiment. We strive to balance authenticity, professionalism, and teamwork while honouring the service of the Australian soldiers who served in Somalia.
