|| Rapid Support Forces || || al-Quwāt ad-Da‘m as-Sarī‘ || || قوات الدعم السريع || The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) (Arabic: قوات الدعم السريع, romanized: al-Quwāt ad-Da‘m as-Sarī‘) are a paramilitary force that originally emerged from the Janjaweed militias and later integrated—partially—into Sudan’s official security framework. As of 2025, they are in open conflict with the Sudanese Armed Forces and are accused of numerous war crimes. They operate independently and are led by Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti).
