Description
The 4th Mechanised Infantry Battalion is a mechanised infantry battalion. The battalion is utilised in peace keeping and attack operations. The 4th Mechanised Infantry Battalion are specialised in working with armoured vehicles. In order to operate an armoured vehicle in the battalion the operator must be IFV/APC qualified and hold the rank of Lance Corporal and above. Standard 18th Battalion infantry only have to pass the training required to join the unit as mounted infantry, making the unit the default unit people are placed into. Mounted infantry are to be transported by and work alongside armoured vehicles.
