Description
The Kingdom of Lindon Lindon is the westernmost realm of the Elves in Middle-earth, a land of fading light and ancient memory set beside the Great Sea, Belegaer. It lay west of the Blue Mountains, where rolling green lands met silver shores and white harbours opened toward the Undying Lands. From its coasts, the Straight Road began, and many Elves looked ever westward, hearing the call of Valinor upon the wind. Lindon was founded at the end of the First Age by High King Gil-galad, last of the High Kings of the Noldor in Middle-earth. It became a refuge for those Elves who survived the ruin of Beleriand, both Noldor and Sindar, and thus was a realm where wisdom, song, and ancient lore endured long after other kingdoms had fallen.
