A Sereníssima Casa dos Bragança, dinastia que governou o Reino de Portugal, Brasil e Algarves, teve início no século XIV com a ascensão de João I ao trono português. Foi com a Revolução de 1640 que a Casa dos Bragança consolidou-se como a monarquia de Portugal, após a independência do país da Espanha. A dinastia também governou o Reino do Brasil, Hoje, a Casa dos Bragança continua sendo uma figura histórica relevante com um importante simbolismo ligado à monarquia e à história portuguesa e brasileira.
