|GDLD| Grand Duchy of Looington Danzig #35248538
OtherEN
Description
The union brought changes to the national identity and political system previously associated with Danzig. According to Danzig's announcement, its former identity as a principality was replaced by the Grand Duchy of Looington-Freistadt Danzig. Its political system also changed from councilism to a parliamentary monarchy. The announcement further stated that Danzig's houses of nobility had come to an end as part of the political changes associated with the union. The agreement established a shared political arrangement between the two former nations while preserving their existing military ranks and providing for equal transfers between their respective personnel.
