Description
THE PTOLEMAIC EGYPTIAN KINGDOM Queen Cleopatra VII and Emperor Octavian set aside their rivalries and form a strategic alliance that reshapes the Mediterranean world. Meeting in Memphis, Egypt, they agree to a truce: Egypt becomes a client state of Rome, maintaining its royal dynasty and cultural identity while supporting Roman interests. The key to this alliance lies in Cleopatra’s marriage to Mark Antony. Rather than causing conflict, the union is reframed as a political bridge between Egypt and Rome. Octavian acknowledges the marriage as a symbol of unity, allowing both powers to cooperate without further bloodshed. With Cleopatra ruling from Memphis, Egypt becomes a trusted partner to Rome, and the city grows into a center of diplomacy, trade, and shared governance. A client-state of The Roman Empire.
