Prepare yourselves! Ready the Cannons! Advance! Welcome to the British Army of the Napoleonic Wars. We are a group dedicated to recreating the Army of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland during the Napoleonic Wars (1803-1815). During the Napoleonic Wars, British forces valiantly fought against the First French Empire and their allies in a series of wars that spanned around 20 years. Over the course of the conflict, the British Army grew from just over 40,000 troops in 1793, to it's peak in 1813 at over 250,000 men. The British Army proved itself greatly at the Battle of Waterloo, where they were one of the main decisive forces in sealing Napoleon's fate as a defeated conqueror.
