Description
The horsemen of Dirʿiyah were not ordinary riders of the desert. They thundered across the sands of Najd, driven not by wealth or rivalry but by the fire of tawḥīd. From the walled oasis of Dirʿiyah they emerged, swift as the desert wind, striking with faith that made them fearless and discipline that made them unstoppable. To their enemies they were a storm on horseback, appearing from the horizon and vanishing into the dunes with victory in their hands. Their swords carved the path of the First Saudi State, carrying its banner from Najd to al-Aḥsāʾ and the sacred precincts of Makkah and Madīnah. When Ibrāhīm Pasha came with cannons and armies, the fursān fought fiercely, leaving an indelible mark on the desert even as Dirʿiyah fell.
