Description
The Barbary corsairs, the valiant sea-gazis of the Garp Ocakları, were the unbending arm of the Sublime Ottoman State in the Mediterranean and the victorious protectors of their land. Operating as autonomous eyalets ruled by glorious dayıs and beylerbeys, these provinces enjoyed complete internal freedom while remaining bound to the Sultan of the world with a heartfelt biat. Driven by the spirit of gaza and victory against their rivals, these noble reis turned the Mediterranean into a secure Ottoman sea and struck terror into enemy fleets with their daring akıns. Supporting the political moves of the central Divan in Istanbul with their absolute power at sea, these brave warriors enriched their provinces through captured spoils and treasures, serving as the most unshakable naval shield of the imperial capital. Uniforms made by FyodorOblonsky. The uniforms we use at Wah.
