Description
The Cobrastan Ground Force was a force only established during The People's Resistance War in the 1940s. Prior to this, the Militia was the only armed forces Cobrastan had. Due to the Militia's tactics they were quickly overran by the invaders and millions died. As winter of 1942 came they did their best to dig in and hold the line, the CGF was established but would be used sparingly until 1943 when a formidable mechanized army was set up. Along with the Militia which had also undergone slight reforms and reorganization, a long campaign of defending the homeland and pushing the invaders out began. It wasn't until after the war that infantry battalions would be incorporated. While the CM use pure numbers and outdated equipment to form massive assaults, the CGF uses modern equipment to make smaller, concentrated pushes. They are the pride of the Cobrastanian army and have proved their worth time and time again since they were established.
