במרץ 1981, כאשר אהרון הייתה בהיריון מתקדם, זכתה הלהקה במקום הראשון בקדם-אירוויזיון עם השיר "הלילה" וייצגה את ישראל באירוויזיון 1981 ובאירוויזיון עצמו הגיעה עם השיר למקום השביעי. בדצמבר אותה שנה השתתפה הלהקה בפעם השנייה ברציפות בפסטיבל שירי הילדים מספר 12 עם השיר "מסיבה של סמבה" (מילים: לאה שילון, לחן: הנרי ברטר, עיבוד: אורי קריב). באותה השנה הוציאה אלבום שירי ילדים "עודני ילד", כשם הלהיט הגדול ביותר מתוכו. את שירי האלבום, מלבד שיר הנושא, הפיק מוזיקלית קובי אושרת.
