Description
Koungariket Noruathvik (meaning "The Northern Bay Kingdom") is a fictional nation focusing on the year 1807, within the Napoleonic wars. The isles now under the domain of Noruathvik, located between Scotland and Iceland, were settled ages ago by Celtic Scots. They had formed a few thriving settlements on the southernmost islands, establishing the duchy of "Coparkrun". Eventually, in the beginning of the 1600s, the newly expansionist Sweden sent settlers to colonize the islands creating a cultural mix between the pre-existing Scots, and the newly arrived Swedes. The colonial project eventually fell apart during the early 1700s, as the Swedish "empire" fell. Former colonists declared themselves independant, with several small duchies popping up across the islands. Later that century, the prince of Airgivik started a conquest to unify the islands peacefully or by force. By the start of the French revolution, the now united Kingdom of Noruathvik was born.
