COHORTES EXPLORATORES CAESAR'S WOLVES The Exploratores were a detachment from the Cohortis Lictoris, serving in skirmishing and reconnaissance operations. Hailing from the more mountainous parts of the empire, these men were recruited for their combat and traversal skills. Engaging with "wolfpack" tactics, these men lay close as the vanguard in case of an enemy ambush. Divide and Conquer. The Skirmishers.
