Description
The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) is the Army’s premier force for specialized and unconventional warfare. USASOC oversees elite units such as the Green Berets, Rangers, Civil Affairs, Psychological Operations, and Special Operations Aviation. Its mission includes counterterrorism, direct action, foreign internal defense, and unconventional warfare across global theaters. Operating in high-risk, complex environments, USASOC soldiers are trained to work with partner nations, gather intelligence, and execute precision missions that support national security objectives. Headquartered at Fort Liberty, USASOC stands at the forefront of the Army’s most critical and sensitive operations.
