Description
The Boulder Pass Police Department was established in 1928, one year after the city's founding, to provide organized law-enforcement to the developing area. The department started with two town marshals and focused on agricultural thefts, roadway patrols, and supporting the Sheriff of Collin County. As Boulder Pass expanded, the Police Department grew in size and capability, as they transitioned from a small, rural agency into a modern suburban police force.
