Founded in 1803, this legion was composed of exiled Irish soldiers who sought glory in the ranks of the French Empire, fighting for freedom, honor, and the independence of Ireland. Our Mission: We honor the courage and the spirit of the Irish fighters who marched under the green flag. Here, you’ll experience the discipline, strategy, and camaraderie of one of the Napoleonic Wars’ most striking units.
