Description
The Parliament of New Anglia was the first of the Oceanian colonial legislatures, with its formation in the 1780s. At the time, New Anglia was a Pax Britannia colony under the control of the Governor. A small, appointed Legislative Council began meeting in 1793 to advise the Governor on legislative matters.
