Description
八一勋章是军队最高荣誉，由军徽、旗帜、长城、橄榄枝等元素构成，一般每五年授予一次，授予在维护国家主权、安全、发展利益，推进国防和军队现代化建设中，作出巨大贡献，建立卓越功勋，在全国、全军有深远影响的军队人员。八一勋章由中央军委决定、中央军委主席签发证书并颁授。 2017年6月，经中央军委主席习近平批准，中国军队新设立“八一勋章”，并组织开展首次评选 。2022年7月27日，中央军委在北京隆重举行颁授“八一勋章”和荣誉称号仪式。
