Description
Em 7 de setembro de 1822, às margens do Rio Ipiranga, na província de São Paulo, o então Príncipe Regente, D. Pedro, soube de ordens da corte portuguesa para que ele abandonasse o Reino do Brasil e fosse para o Reino de Portugal ou então seria acusado de traição. Com isso, ele gritou "Independência ou Morte!", e assim separou definitivamente o Brasil de Portugal. Em 12 de outubro de 1822, foi aclamado "Imperador Constitucional" e "Defensor Perpétuo do Brasil". Em 1º de dezembro do mesmo ano, ocorreu a cerimônia de Coroação e Consagração. 🌿Viva o Imperador!🌿
