Description
𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐈𝐊𝐎𝐈 The Perioikoi were the second-class inhabitants of Lakedaimon - craftsmen, seafarers, traders were all Perioikoi. In wartime, the Perioikoi fought beside their Spartan comrades as the Lakedaimon's main fighting force equipped in usual Hoplite attire, and utilising the Phalanx. Although not as prestigious, these men were still a force to be reckoned with. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪
