Description
Originally part of the Izmailovsky Lifeguard Regiment, the 1. Freedom Regiment is an independent force declared free in 1812 on Kotelny Island. The Officers leading a rebellious regiment left St. Petersburg and fled north fortifying Kotelny island. Although rebelling from the Russian Empire, they do not consider themselves enemies of the All Russian Emperor.
