Description
The Empire of Valdric is a vast, militaristic state born from the unification of ten ancient city-states and driven by the worship of Sol, the sun deity, under the religious guidance of the Pontificate. It rose to power after humanity’s emergence from the dark age known as the Evernight, conquering lands and peoples—including the elves—and spreading its culture and faith across Valdric and beyond. The Empire is marked by its ambition, technological advancement, and colonial expansion, but also by internal strife, religious zealotry, and moral contradictions. Though its golden age has passed, its influence lingers in the fractured nations, syncretic religions, and lingering myths of its former dominion.
