🎌𝐇𝐎𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐈-𝐓𝐀𝐈 [歩兵組隊]🎌 🎎𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐌: Shogunate_Loyalist ◙▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◙ 🏮The Hoheigumi (歩兵組隊) "Infantry Corps"/"Infantry Group" was the heavy infantry of the Shogunate army and meant to be the main army of the new reforms by the Shogunate in the 1860's. Established during the Bunkyū Reforms, the Hoheigumi represented the Shogunate’s ambitious attempt to modernize its land forces and consolidate military power under a unified command. The Hoheigumi first saw action during the Mito Rebellion and the Second Chōshū Expedition. After the total defeat of the Shogunate at Toba-Fushimi many fled to Osaka where the Shogun himself had already fled.
