Description

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐄 ▬ 💎 Welcome to Crete, the jewel of the Mediterranean, one of the wealthiest regions of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, and a vital link in the kingdom's administration. 🌿 Governed by a nomarch appointed by the Pharaoh, Crete thrives under a system that balances local tradition with Ptolemaic oversight. Lands are distributed to loyal machimos (soldier-farmers) and basilikos (royal tenants), ensuring both military strength and agricultural productivity.

Growth

7 measurements spanning 62 days, net +3. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 27–33 and does not start at zero.
