Description
El “Batallón de Infantería Chile” o “Fijo de Concepción”, unidad creada en 1777 por Agustín de Jáuregui a partir de los remanentes del “Batallón Portugal” (1770) y del ejército inmemorial de la Frontera del Biobío. Fue uno de los pocos batallones en contar con tambores y pífanos entre sus filas.
