Description
In 1953, tensions boiled over with the emergence of the Darul Islam Rebellion, a movement advocating for an state. Many young Acehnese fighters, inspired by this cause, sought to reclaim their sovereignty. Among them were the founders of TNA-WP, who envisioned a force specifically rooted in the Pidie region, where the spirit of resistance burned brightest.
