It is told that the first ruler, Emperor Kael Mendacium, rose to power by forging a false prophecy that proclaimed him the chosen one to unite a fractured empire. His reign was marked by shadowy alliances, betrayal, and manipulation, with secrets buried deeper than the foundations of the palaces he constructed. Each subsequent emperor, bound by the dynasty's creed of subterfuge, maintained power through the art of illusion, with entire histories rewritten, foes erased from existence, and truths twisted beyond recognition. The Mendacium Empire flourished in its webs of deceit, but whispers of its eventual downfall persist, as each emperor grows more paranoid, believing their closest allies might one day unmask the dynasty’s greatest lie.
