Description
The Durant Department of Public Safety ensures that public services including police, fire, and ems are accountable and held to standards current with policy. In the event of a disaster, the Department of Public Safety coordinates response with emergency services and other executive departments. Furthermore, the department is responsible for counter-terrorism operations and ensuring public safety through transparency. Current Budget: 2.62 Billion U.S. Dollars
