Description
Westworth State University is a public university set in Westworth County of New Jersey. The township beside the university was founded in 1778 by Andrew Westworth, a blacksmith who had assisted the patriots during the revolution for independence. In 1856, Governor Jonathan P. Crawford, a champion for public education and advanced learning had partnered with local leaders and the community to create Westworth State University, a haven for higher learning. Westworth is popularly known for in schools for accepting students from detention facilities that have shown promising progress during their high school years and are worth investing in to get them started on a journey of success.
