Byzantinism #35483497
Description
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐘𝐙𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 ⛪ One Faith, One Legacy, One Empire 🦅 ₪▬▬▬₪▬▬▬₪ 🌿 The empire of the eastern Romans — Byzantium. Vigour of the east, viaduct and crossroad of Asia and Europe. 🕊️ In the wake of Rome's decline, her eastern half forged a narrative of unyielding strength. After centuries of being the most powerful civilization in the early medieval age, the empire found herself surrounded by the ambitious who sought to challenge that status. Steadfast against relentless assaults from all sides, the Byzantines weathered the storms for more than a thousand years. They endured long enough to close the chapter on the Old World — just forty years before the discovery of the New. Byzantium upheld itself as the mantle and light of Europe and the heir to their ancestral Roman heritage and legacy, leaving an indelible mark on the pages of history. 📜 "The safety of the state is the highest law." ― Justinian I ❈▬▬▬❈▬▬▬❈ 🌟 Βασιλεύς Βασιλέων Βασιλεύων Βασιλευόντων
