Description
The Internal Intelligence Service (IIS) is the Foundation’s shadowed eyes and judiciary hand—an internal investigative body tasked with uncovering espionage, corruption, protocol breaches, and insider threats that could compromise containment and personnel safety. IIS operatives specialize in covert surveillance, forensic auditing, counterintelligence, and behavioral analysis; they monitor communications, vet personnel, and conduct discrete audits of sensitive projects. When anomalies intersect with human factors—rogue staff, compromised contractors, or information leaks—IIS leads quiet investigations, gathers admissible evidence, and recommends corrective action ranging from reassignment and retraining to containment or prosecution. Operating under strict oversight, the IIS balances secrecy with legal and ethical constraints, ensuring the Foundation’s internal integrity remains intact so all other departments can focus on secure, uninterrupted research and containment.
