Description
PEOPLE’S COURTS SYSTEM | Sistema de Tribunales Populares ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The People’s Courts System (Sistema de Tribunales Populares) is the unified judicial framework of Cuba, operating within the principles of Communist legality and guided by the Cuban Communist Party (Partido Comunista de Cuba, PCC). Established to uphold the values of the Cuban Revolution, this system ensures the fair and equitable administration of justice in alignment with the ideals of social justice, equality, and the defense of socialism. The People’s Courts are structured in a hierarchical manner, with the People’s Supreme Court (Tribunal Supremo Popular) serving as the highest authority, overseeing the consistent application of the law across all levels. Below this, Provincial and Municipal Courts handle specific cases. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "Justice for the Revolution, Justice for the People!" | "¡Justicia para la Revolución, Justicia para el Pueblo!"
