Description
The Galactic Empire was the authoritarian regime that ruled the galaxy in the years following the Clone Wars, founded by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine when he declared himself Emperor. Built on the promise of peace and security, the Empire masked its true nature—an iron-fisted dictatorship bent on order through fear and military might. Its capital was Coruscant, where the Emperor oversaw a vast bureaucracy and a ruthless Imperial Navy. The Empire’s forces included the iconic stormtroopers, the massive Imperial Star Destroyers, and superweapons like the Death Star, capable of destroying entire planets. The Empire suppressed alien species, dissolved the Senate, and crushed any hint of rebellion, enforcing its will across the galaxy through regional governors and the dreaded Imperial Security Bureau.
