**The Republic of Valdoria – Official Background** Valdoria, more formally known as *The Republic of Valdoria*, is a fictional nation located along the historic borderlands that once divided southern France and northern Spain. Formed in the aftermath of two devastating global conflicts, Valdoria emerged from a region left economically strained, politically uncertain, and deeply in need of stability. During this period of unrest—often referred to as *The National Split*—local populations, civil leaders, and elements of regional security forces began to distance themselves from their former governments. These groups sought to establish a new system that could provide order, unity, and long-term security for the people of the region.
