Description
Ratified under the 1992 Seldovia Accords, the facility, "United States Containment Site", was established as a joint sovereignty project between the SCP Foundation and the Department of Defense. Following an accelerated sixty-day conceptual phase, construction commenced in late 1992, with the site reaching full operational status in 1995 during the Clinton Administration under Level 5 "Umbra" secrecy protocols. The facility’s security was severely tested in 1999 during a large-scale offensive by GRU Division "P" remnants operating from covert Alaskan silos, involving both heavy carpet bombing and anomalous infantry raids. Now retrofitted and officially designated "USCS Apollo," the site remains a cornerstone of North American containment, defended by a multi-layered security apparatus comprising of Delta-4, the CIA’s Special Activities Center, and elements of the United States Armed Forces.
