Description
The Day Household ✦•······················•✦•······················•✦ The Day Family, one of California's wealthiest and most influential dynasties, traces its origins to 1858, when they founded Day Enterprises. Over the decades, their vast land holdings and strategic investments in development made them a cornerstone of the state's economy. In 1911, following the sudden death of Charles Day, Lady Alessandra Day-Parr, at just 21, assumed leadership of the family empire. Under her guidance, the company expanded into weapons manufacturing, seizing oppurtunities in the growing arms industry. Today, Day Enterprises thrives in import/export, land management and development as well as arms production, with the Dowager Viscountess at the helm, securing the family's legacy as one of America's most powerful and influential. Estates: The C.E. Day Mansion, Sacramento Rosecliff, Newport Château de Vin, New York Villa Capriano, Portugal Oakwood Estate, Tennessee
